i gave you all

How can you say that your truth is better than ours?

But I gave you all
But you rip it from my hands
And you swear it's all gone
And you rip out all I have
Just to say that you've won

Well now you've won

i'm disgusted with this whole fucking world. i'm disgusted i'm a part of it.

I’ve been dying to get out

nanana. acting like a total dumbass is sometimes fun.xD
anyway i got my results from math exams. could be better. but as for now, and considering how my math classes look like, they are quite satisfying. Although i haven't got my english exams results yet, i'm already ashamed of myslef._.

okay. enough now about some other stuff. Yesterday i've seen Paris, je t'aime. 2-hour movie made of many shorter separate stories. all of them take place in Paris, and of course the thing that connects them is love, understood in many ways. my fave one was the one with the blind guy and girl from Boston (played by Natalie Portman) Some of the stories are sad, some weird, some ridiculous. i guess you might find at least one that you will enjoy.;>

story: 4.5/7
actors: 6/7
music: 5/7
all in all: 5/7

and some music. maybe we'll stay in the old days. enjoy Relient K. once again. Be my escape

Get yourself loose, get yourself high.

okay, 2 things today. first. today i must say i was shocked, it's not like i have no idea how people are, or how some people are, but this time it went too far. it doesn't really matter what was the subject of the discussion, but stopping it at one point saying it's no use to continue, when the other person is talking is completely boorish! I mean c'mon, what's the matter? just because you have different opinion it doesn't mean you can disrespect others. of course it depends on the person, but when you don't even want to listen to what somebody has to say when he has a different opinion, it's sick. i'm sorry but then you have a serious problem and you should look at yourself and try to do something about it. it's not only about respect but by listening you can learn a lot, you can start seeing things from a different angle, and whether you agree or not, it might be worth to know how others see an idea or whatever are you talking about. i could go further into characters, which annoy me, but maybe next time.

second. as i'm overthinking everything lately, and yesterday among many things i thought about were motivation, work and few other stuff, which i won't mention, but i'm thinking about having a break from ALL THIS. i mean it's really inspiring going through all stuff on the internet but it's killing something inside of me, i think. i don't mean to cut off from the world completely, because it's impossible nowadays, as i have school and other things i have to take care of, i can't allow myself to just lock my laptop in a cupboard, but i'm thinking about spending only few minutes. i'll be posting something from time to time(i guess as often as now), and of course i'll still be running the art blog (yes, i'll try to post sth daily)  so don't worry.( i don't really think you care but whatever.)

let's end this post with nice music. enjoy.;> ZZ Top Can't Stop Rockin'

The boy's no good

umm yeah, so lately i try to over-think every possible thing. or maybe just one. anyway i really try to sort things out, i really do! i'm also stuck with preparing for my final exams in may. and i suck so badly, or maybe just the exercises i try to make are stupid./yeah i keep tellin' myself that all the time. but this doesn't seem to help. another thing i neglect is drawing, i don't mean drawing like just doodlin' or whatever, i should work on the line, and stuff like that. again, i really do try! but trying is not enough.
somebody told me a while ago that things will pick up in a while, cause it's always like that, and what if i've not reached the bottom yet?

Alegoria Czasu.

Alegoria Czasu,
który gna niczym rączy rumak, po polu dmuchawców.

(Allegory of Time,
who scampers like a swift horse, on a field of daffodils.)

just something i've just finished few minutes ago.
It speaks for itself.
sorry for the lame photo, but there's no sun here at this time.

If it keeps on rainin', levee's goin' to break

Since i've started my other blog, i've stopped posting art here, so today i decided to post a few works that recently inspired (or whatever), the ones that i find interesting, or touching in some way. umm..but maybe first some music.;>

Led Zeppelin When the Levee Breaks

(clik on the photos to enlarge)
Annunciation by Jan van Eyck (1434)
Fascination with the old Masters works.
Midsummer's Eve by Edward Hughes (1908)
 It's pure magic.
Just take a look at other Hughes' works and you'll say the same.

Enid and Geraint by Rowland Wheelwright (1907)
Just for the good medieval time's sake.(well maybe not so good.;d)
Changing The Letter by Joseph Edward Southall (1861-1944)

by Mikael Bourgouin (contemporary artist)

Vanitas still life by Pieter Claesz (1630)

Portrait of Jaroslava by Alphonse Mucha (19th/20th Century)
All time love - Alfons Mucha.<3 but this time not in "Mucha" style.
Study, The Water's Edge by Berthe Morisot (19th Century)

The Lanterns by Charles Courtney Curran (19th Century)

American Barns by Eyvind Earle (20th Century)

Ancient Forest by Eyvind Earle (20th Century)
I just came across Earle's works and I find them really fantastic. The colours are wonderful, and his just look at American Barns, this work is so simple, but ain't it simply awesome? Now look at the next work, it's really fascinating, again, it looks simple and geometrical, but there's this magical atmosphere. And the last work Sleeping Beauty I don't know if he was one of  artists working on the Disney movie, but for me it looks a little bit as if he worked for Disney then. I must check it later.
Sleeping Beauty by Eyvind Earle (20th Century)

Apple Tree, I by  Gustav Klimt (19th/20th Century)
It's just so colourful! Love it!

Avond Evening the Red Tree by  Piet Mondrian (1910)
I came across this work yesterday on Wikipainting. I just love the colors, the cold background and the warm tree. Reminds me a little bit of Van Gogh's Starry Night, and a little bit of Picasso (cause he was a master in mixing cold and warm colours in one work.)

Brontosaurus Civitas by Jacek Yerka (2004)
This big something I assume Brontosaurus is really adorable, ain't it?;> Anyway I was really surprised to find out that the artist-Jacek Yerka was born in Torun.(Poland) As I've never heard of him before, I'm glad I did now.
by Charles Robinson
Reminds me of Dulac's works. here's a my previous post about him, if you're interested.

Full Moon by Paul Klee (1919)
I wouldn't thought before that I'd post something like this, but try to tell me this is not fun.

Idylls of the King by Gustave Dore (Romanticism--19th Century)

Ocean Waves by Katsushika Hokusai
Somekind of interest in the Japanese traditions.

Sleeping Nude with a Red Shawl by Zinaida Serebriakova (1930)

Woman Smiling by Lucian Freud (1959)
Now you could ask me what's so ....... about it? Well I find Freud's works interesting, sometimes maybe a little bit disgusting, but just a little. I like the fact that people on his works are not beautiful, that they are presented in a rather unpleasant way, although this artwork is pretty, I think.

Yes, that was a few.;D I hope you liked it. Some of this works've been already posted on the art blog so feel free to visit.;> I'm thinking of making more post like this, cause it's fun;>
